Additional Information Regarding NQ Processing Specifications:
NeuroQuant and NeuroQuant MS software require a high-quality magnetization prepared

(“IR-prepped”) 3D gradient recalled echo (GRE) pulse-sequences such as MPRAGE, IR-
SPGR, and BRAVO with high signal-to-noise and sufficient anatomical depiction (e.g.

high gray/white matter contrast-to-noise).
In addition to the general recommendations for the protocol parameters provided above,
please follow the recommendations below:
1. The FoV must have full head (ear to ear) coverage and the chin should be included.
Shoulders should not be included.
2. There should not be a slice overlap or gap between slices (spacing between slices
should be 0).
3. Isotropic voxel size
4. Up to 2x acceleration supported
5. No post-processing filters
6. Landmark at nasion
7. Vendor based distortion correction should be ON if available
8. No compression of images (e.g., ZIP 512)
9. Slice thickness must be 1-1.2 mm
